The definition of enemies to lovers.

Second book WAYYYY fucking better than the first one. This one had so much action, twists, and romance I throughly enjoyed it. I feel like this one really really made up for the lack of excitement in the first book. I never expected to see myself shipping Gavin and Alistar but I just couldn't help it...they are so stinking cute!! Also the scene with Reid and Isobel, ugh yes. No but for real I really did enjoy the plot it was so enthralling I needed to know what would happen next with each chapter ending on a cliffhanger. This book really just screams fuck the government and I'm here for it.

A continuação consegue ser melhor que a original porque tem mais ação, desenvolve melhor as interações entre os personagens e também porque eu aceitei o estilo da história e a proposta das autoras melhores (nada tão elaborado ou sombrio quanto o marketing pode te fazer pensar). Feliz que terminei a história, no final das contas valeu a pena.
