The first part felt completely disconnected from the second part. The romance scenes were good but then the story took a wild turn into serious. I could have liked it better if I had DNF'd halfway through.

💘Calling all romance lovers!!💘

Stinger was first released in 2013 and I’m so glad they decided to spin the block and re-release it this year!

Everything about this book is a “stinger” from the sexy cover to the electric chemistry between Carson and Grace! Miss Mia Sheridan wasted no times heating up the pages, which started with a climatic rendezvous in Vegas, in which porn star Carson promises Grace the time of their life. Yes, I said porn star! That knowledge did not have Grace running for the hills, baby girl accepted the challenge honey!

After a much needed pleasurable release, and a surprisingly strong connection, will these two be able to walk away from each other once their time is up?

I really enjoyed the banter between the two. Carson loved ruffling his little “Buttercup’s“ feathers. I’m a sucker for a arrogant, cocky guy (all pun intended) and Carson was that guy! No wonder Grace was always caught off guard, snappy, while secretly being turn on!!

I was wondering how this story would continue especially when much of the action took place early on, but I must say things got even better as the story progressed. I ended up loving this story so much! It starts off teasingly fun and ends so mature, heartfelt and sweet. It gave all the feels!!

Thank you so much @booklovertamesha for my birthday surprise (back in June)! I finally got to it, but this was perfect to heat up a cool fall morning. The audiobook narration is great too!!

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐬? 𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬? 𝐎𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭-𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬? We are planning a trip soon. I really want to see the Canyon Antelopes and Usher!!

Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Jack & Rose both survived on that door? Well, this book is your answer! (If Jack was a porn star and Rose a law student but yeah, feels like they could have been that in our times, you know!) Amazing, right?

Read it you like: Opposite attracts / Character growth / Second chance / Instalove / A little bit of forced proximity and enemies to lovers as well

MY REVIEW - Mia Sheridan never disappoints. She’s able to write deep characters with heartwarming stories. You cannot help rooting for them and wanting them to find happiness. Some passages in that book had me feeling almost sick to my stomach cause I felt so close to the characters and their emotions got to me. There were some endearing moments, some more emotional, and it was all so good.

One thing I did notice was that the flow/pacing was so different at times, so I had moments where I couldn’t put the book down but then I was okay with stopping for a while. I’m not that good with time jumps and there were a lot of them at some point. I had a soft spot for the first part of the book. It was so nice to see the two characters get together and start getting close. They had such an impact on each other's life (Titanic vibes here, my friends) and it was interesting to see how they changed after their time together.

The whole sentence "I’ll never let go" took another meaning for me with this one. Rose never let go of her promise to Jack, meanwhile Grace and Carson never let go of each other and they get their HEA, thank you for that! I know you are thinking what’s her problem with Titanic but I SWEAR IT’S EVERYWHERE in that book I’m not making it up, I’m not just some crazy Titanic fan (okay maybe I am... I must be the only review focusing on Titanic here.... but I don’t care!)

Thanks to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC. All opinions are my own.
