**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Rome's Chance is book 6.6 in the Reapers MC series but it can be read as a standalone with no issues. I suggest reading the other books in the Reapers series just because they are amazing you need to experience them.

Rome's Chance was just enough of a Reaper to have me wanting more. Rome McQuire has been bidding his time with Randi. The first time he met her she was young and innocent. He walked away. The second time the fires hit Hallies Falls and forced Randi and her family to run from her home. When Randi comes back for her high school reunion Rome isn't letting her get away.

Rome is everything Randi remembers and more. He's sexy. He smells amazing and he's a Reaper now. Randi only plans to be in town for the weekend when she runs into Rome. So him asking her out has her body asking for things only Rome can give her. A one night stand makes sense but when tragedy strikes, can Randi depend on Rome? Can Randi be the one for Rome?

I loved Rome. No one writes a sexy biker like Ms. Wylde. She has you swooning over them within a few chapters. Rome and Randi bond over similar experiences and the chemistry they have is off the charts. I loved Randi's little snarky sister Lexi. She's just what this quick read needed to break up Rome and Randi's intensity.

1001 Dark Night are the perfect quick reads. They give you a quick peek at a new to you author or bring back your favorites with a little glimpse. This one has me begging for a new Reapers ASAP!

This was a passionate and intense read that definitely packed a punch for being a novella. I love second chances and Rome definitely made me fall hard in this story. I love the Reapers MC series and I definitely can't wait to read more!

With a title of 1001 Dark Nights in the title, one would expect spice. Meh, not really. Unfortunately, this book did not live up to the expectations. Instead, it fell flat. The story was redundant; there was a lot telling and summarizing instead of showing. Meh.

A great "epilogue" to an intensely sexual and dramatic series. Fun to see old characters and get more info on some of the unfinished stories. Rome and Randi were great and sweet despite the challenges and losses

Une petite romance dans l'univers des Reapers MC que j'ai bien aimé : avec des scènes sexy, des rebondissements et des fous rires =D (Rome était un peu moins hardcore que les bikers habituels de la série mais je l'ai bien aimé aussi x))

A little romance in the universe of Reapers CM that I liked: with sexy scenes, twists and laughs =D (Rome was a little less hardcore than the usual bikers of the series but I loved him too x))

This review was originally posted on Cocktails and Books

Cocktails and Books received this book for free from Inkslinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect our opinion of the book or the content of our review.I'm a huge Reaper's MC fan and seeing this novella had me excited.  Rome and Randi's romance fell short for me.  It lacked the chemistry I've come to know with the other Reaper's books.  Part of that could have been because of the novella length (which I admittedly have a hard time with) but the chance run-in and subsequent date felt flat, which made believing their quick relationship building a bit unrealistic.

Novella

Love Joanna Wylde. I do feel like Rome’s Chance was missing a lot of the story but it was a novella so I understand. I also wish, though it was meant to be completely stand alone, that we had seen more of the Reapers.

Some books just end before you are ready, all of Joanna's books are like that for me.
