This book is phenomenal, I loved everything about it. It has a message, the artwork is gorgeous, and there are so many perspectives.

I'm... not sure how to rate this

This was clearly made with the best intentions for a good cause with all money going to the families. None of that I can fault.

But there were a lot of comics that just didn't hit the mark or were clearly written by cis straight white guys when Pulse was full of Lainx queer people.

I feel like 4 stars doesn't match my thoughts on this, but I can't think about giving this lower than 4 stars.

It was an okay read. There was a lot of comics on dealing with the grief of the Pulse shooting and some happy, upbeat stories. For me, the comics were hit or miss. Overall, I think this was a fantastic idea, but it fell short it areas.
To elaborate, it appears most of the writers and artists for the anthology are white, straight, men. And, most of the characters in the book appear to be lesbian or gay. Where's the rest of the spectrum? Like I said, great idea but a sloppy execution.

Oof. My eyes have been too dry lately and this anthology definitely wet them.
4.5/5 for gaps in representation.

Love will never die

Spent a good afternoon just reading and letting all my emotions fly. I cried, laughed, smiled, even had moments of anger. Very therapeutic and super thankful this was put together. There's everything to find in this book from poems to stories with awesome artworks varying from style and color. A reminder in physical form that love will always win.

It's rather rare I cry with a book and this kept me eye watered through most of it. Every page is from a different, author, colorist, etc.

Not all of them are great, some are quite ghastly. Thing is, the intention is to raise awareness and benefit the survivors of the shooting. Having said that, some of them are great. I don't see as many lgbtq contributors as I would like to, but I think the message gets across quite nicely.

Overall, I really like this anthology. There were a few that I felt missed the mark with me, but I bet they were helpful to others reading it. Everyone grieves differently.
