I think this book was soooooooooooo much better than the original series. The characters were more awesome and Skye's Gift (That she is the passage between the living and the dead) is AWESOME!!!!! I kinda got bored when Bianca came into the scene, but that's probably because i didn't like the original series, but lucky she was only in there for a bit. or else i would've died.

Anyway, to sum it up. it was an awesome book, and one of the first books that I actually LIKED this year (So far :)
I reccommed this book for people who like ghosts, paranormal powers, vampires and YA Fiction.

With this being the final book in the series it left a lot of unanswered question at the end. Also this book had a hard time keeping wanting to read it and had random scenes that would take me out of the story at points that felt very random.

Un très bon spin-off, different de la saga initiale mais tout aussi entrainant :)

This book was too dull to keep trudging through. I stopped halfway through.

I enjoy this way more than the evernight books and it works as a stand alone. Bummer I didn't skip out on evernight and just read this. Oh well.

I had been looking forward to this books ever since Claudia Gray announced it. Balthazar is one of my favorite Evernight characters, and I really enjoyed reading his story!

So I totally expected this book to be average-not as good aas Evernight. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I wasnt expecting a romance, i wasnt expecting that much action. Granted-this book wasnt quite as amazing as Evernight, but what can be? I still LOVED it, though. I fell in love with Balthazar after this novel.

Now that Evernight has burned down Balthazar has been roaming alone and was contacted by Lucas to help Skye. Skye has been having some problems with her visions and now she is experiencing deaths that have happened in different places she goes. Only Balthazar upon finding Skye comes across other problems than just her new visions. Now both are in danger and Balthazar will do anything to help Skye get out of the situation.

This was a great book that I really enjoyed and found to be a great spin off from the Evernight series. Balthazar is such a great character and I loved the fact that it focused on him and his past life while incorporating the present time. He’s a great character and very complex with personal issues to overcome. Skye on the other hand is a determined character with her on vulnerabilities. The way his past is incorporated in mini stories of what he went through in different times went well with the progress of the story. The book was full of action, romance and suspense. The relationship between Balthazar and Skye is sweet and really pulls you into the emotions they’re going through. The only thing I would have liked is more information on why Skye’s blood affects the vampires in the way it does. Overall it was a great read with good pace that keeps you captivated throughout the story. I would recommend the book and would like to see it continue and other spin offs from other Evernight characters wouLd be great too.
