Enjoy this but frustrated and disappointed. I think overall it wasn’t what I expected but it also had some problems with it that bothered. Bree was a good character but not my fave. My biggest complaint was the pacing and YA cliches I don’t enjoy that have been showing in recent publications. The cliches are ones that annoy me to no end. Ugh. But the idea of the magic is cool but unclear at times. I may or may not continue.

wow wow wow. What a ride. My head hurts in the best way. I love a book that combines fantasy and history so artfully. Everything felt so real. The twists and the turns shook me to my core. amazing. Just wow. No thoughts head empty, just wow.

Has King Arthur’s theme and I don’t enjoy those types of books unfortunately. But I did like the main character, Bree.
