Extremely cogent and well-documented analysis of marketing trends, at least according to my lights. Had a difficult time believing that one of the articles, written in the 1960's, could still be so entirely relevant to today's market. Highly recommended read for design or data-oriented thinkers.

Another one that took me forever. While the articles were very interesting, I was surprised by how theoretical most of these were.

3.5 stars. The articles I found useful were ‚Learning from the Future‘ ‚The High Price of Efficiency‘ and ‚Roaring out of Recession‘ - probably because I was able to immediately find some overlap with situations I am familiar with. There were also some interesting insights in the other articles, however those are the ones I got the most value from.

If I could only recommend one of the HBR books, it‘d probably be this one. Is it the best management book ever? No, but still very insightful.

This was another book I picked up at he airport store with very limited selection when I forgot my Kindle on my honeymoon. It's a collection of 10 articles from HBR on topics related to emotional intelligence in the workplace. As you'd expect with that format, some articles are great, some less so. I found the piece on "process fairness" ("Why It's So Hard to Be Fair" by Joel Brockner) the most interesting to me and relevant to my workplace. 3.5 stars overall.

Stimulating reads but found many of the articles dated and blurring the lines between sales support and true marketing. Worth the read but not entirely relevant for many progressive companies in 2016.

Good HBR collection of articles, although by the fifth one you get the feeling of getting the same message across five times. I particularly found "Manage your Energy, Not your Time" engaging.
