I started reading this series so I could learn more about Canadian history, and also because I loved the Dear America series so much as a kid. This one wasn't one of the
Most exciting books of the series, but the historical note is worth reading. The diary is tedious and I constantly found myself annoyed with the narrator and her parents. Not one of my favorites (I almost gave up on it), but not the worst.

Definitely not my favourite of the reread so far. God I hated her dad so much.
