Neve started out as a bitchy person. They way Scott wrote this book gave Neve the way to go and face her demons. But in silver springs its never alone. The men in Neve life help her grow and become a better person. Silver Springs Skate keeps getting better.

This is another fun addition to the Silver Skates and Silver Springs world. Neve does come across as a spoiled brat in the beginning. The story is well written with characters that are easy to feel for or against (depending on the character). Neve and her mates' story is cute and enjoyable read.

Neve just moved to Silver Springs after her father forced her. She has turn the human newspaper around and bring a profit, if she wants to go back to her lavish lifestyle. But what she wasn't expected was to find her four mates and that she's not really the wonky witch she thought she was.

It was a fun and light novel. Neve's mates were adorable while her father was a really piece of work.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Neve is Helen Scott’s contribution to the Silver Springs series and this book is packed with steamy romance with handsome shifters in a beautiful little town in upstate New York. This book will capture your attention and keep you page-turning to the very end as Neve finally learns the truth behind her magic and unexpectedly finds something that she wasn’t looking for…love.
Neve: Silver Skates is book three in the Silver Springs series, but this book is a stand-alone, but you’ll meet some of the characters from the other books written by the various authors contributing to this series. Neve has been sent to Silver Springs by her father as a test, but is it really a test that she can pass on her own? She’s supposed to get the local newspaper back in the black, or she’ll be forced to work wherever her father deems “appropriate” to place her. Neve has always been treated as a screw-up because of her “lack” of magic, but is there more going on than it seems?
When I first started reading this book I was worried I wouldn’t like Neve. She seemed like an entitled party girl who was just upset daddy was making her take on some responsibility. Imagine my surprise when Neve actually turns out to be a likeable character! LOL! I kept waiting for the snotty attitude and sense of entitlement, but that never really comes. Of course, the author shows exactly why, but it won’t be for a while, but trust me when I say it’s worth the wait. As Neve makes her way around the town, meeting her various mates I can’t help but smile. Each of the guys feels the connection, but Neve…not so much. I have to admit that I love Seren’s relationship with his sister. He’s the most stubborn of the group, but worth coming around for.
Things move pretty quickly with this book. Since its “fated mates” you get the insta-love/lust with all the characters. For a couple of them, things don’t quickly transition to falling into bed, but when things get steamy…they get STEAMY! I loved it.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author did a good job with the characters and the storyline and I will be reading the other books in the series in the near future. If you are looking for a steamy reverse harem paranormal romance with engaging characters and don’t mind “insta-love/fated mates” then this book will be a good choice to pick up.

Neve - Silver Skates #3

Neve is so good! Each book in the Silver Skates series gets better and better.

Neve Aster is sent to run the Siover Springs Gazette by her father. He tells her that she either does this or she gets cut off from her family & trust fund. So, she decides to give it a go.

What she never banked on was finding her mates, four of them!

What happens when a spoiled party girl heiress gets sent to a small town to turn around the local newspaper her father owns?

Well, this is Silver Springs where just about anything can happen!

A trip to the Silver Skates rink - of course - sets Neve off on a journey where she discovers that her life isn't what she thought. By the end of the book, the little rich girl has turned into a loving and lovable woman, with multiple mates, all of whom support her.

And props go to the creation of one of the most awful people I've ever read about, and who only appears in a few small, but significant scenes, Neve's father. To create such a loathsome creature in so few words takes skill!
