Thank you Netgalley and  Clarion Books for the gifted book!

The second book picks up after the curse has been lifted, but once again the sisters are faced with a seemingly insurmountable challenge when Charlie goes missing. Magic is at the core of the issue and they have to rely on each other and some new friends to see their way out of the mess they are in. There are pirates and a mysterious island and the sisters have to use kindness, ingenuity, and bravery to prevail.

I absolutely loved being back with the Widdershins sisters on their adventures. The inclusion of the hagstone folklore was brilliant, I loved their adventure and the new characters that were introduced in this book. I'm excited for the next book.

I love the Pinch of Magic series so much.

We follow the Widdershins sisters as trouble once again manages to find them on Crowstone and they need to figure out how to save their kidnapped sister and help the mysterious who appeared on their doorstep in the middle of the night.

I love the mixture of magic and superstition in a timeless setting where there isn't any modern technology but it also feels quite contemporary.
