While the writing of Queen of Shadows isn't the best quality YA I've ever read, it's full of lovable characters, action, and plot twists that made it hard not to read it all in one sitting! I can't wait to see what's next in the Throne of Glass series

Okay. Where do I even start?? I LOVED this book. The character development is SO good, I absolutely love all of the relationships and how they evolve so much. When Aelin almost kills Manon I really felt how much I'd grown to care about Manon cuz I didn't want her to kill her! That whole thing was great. Also, LYSANDRA??? Obsessed. The plot twist with the king and perrington and kind of Kaltain? Ah. I'm just so excited to see how this continues to evolve. 🤌🏼

Felt like the pacing was a bit off and that some of the character arcs changed a bit too fast in a short number of chapters to really be able to take in the change for the direction the story was going in.
