It seems like a cute story, but waay to YA for me to enjoy. The characters act too young for their described age, and it makes the story feel a little dull.
Nevertheless, from what I've read so far, I can't see any reason for the allegations mentioned in the review bombing that has happened her on Goodreads.

No rating. Just had to test this out, knowing it would probably not be for me.

I love this books so much, can’t recommend more. The story is just so good and I love the characters they such flushed out characters and feel so real. I love them all even when they made me mad at them.

A heartbreakingly good fantasy story with twists, turns, lesbians, and witches. I seriously enjoyed the atmosphere of this story. And the short chapters made it much easier for me to pace myself and read the story. It has lovely characters and found family. I’d reccomend this to anyone who wants a good queer fantasy book with action and suspense!

(I also recommend getting the paperback version with the character art & the bonus story! Both were a lovely little treat)
