This was probably the best one out of the series to me.

It's a 3.5 for me.

Ok so this was disappointing. I knew the author didn't want to write about this story anymore and wanted to focus on other stories, and it was noticeable. At least for me. I have nothing against the author and I wish her well for her next stories, but damn it felt like a let down.

For information, I've read all of the other stories and I was a litteral fangirl because Aiden and Selene are so cute together and their adventures were my guilty pleasure.

I mainly finished the story because I started this series. There were parts of the plot that interested me, but there were also some parts that put me off. Let's talk about them.

- The fast pace. The book compared to the others is 280 something which included the epilogue and also the thanks.
So we are roughly about 250 pages or real story, which includes time jumps, actions after actions with no pauses and fillings in between that actually felt like fillings.

- Aiden and Selene: the secrets between them, then the promises not to keep secrets between them and then wash and repeat. The book isn't that long to do it multiple times.

- The characters that I liked were insuffurable. Especially Noelle. It felt so out of character that I had to read it again whenever she talked.

- There were overall too many repetitions. I enjoy when at the beginning of a new book book from a series the author does a little explaining, but not too much. It was sprinkled at random times in the book and made me disconnect.

I hope the last book of this series will be better.
