The writing was fine, but it didn’t feel like a lot happened in the story besides the emotional development between Alejandro and Alana. I’m all for building the characters, but I prefer more to be happening. The plot started to get good near the end and by then I was too annoyed to read the next book to find out what happens.

this was just supposed to be a mindless smut read to get me out of a reading slump and now I'm over here reading the sequel?! I didn't really like the whole I control you thing I feel like it could have been explained to Alana more calmly. 
Also, there were like 2 typos and I read the online version and not a printed version so there's no way it was a misprint (I read the same 2 sentences twice trying to understand what she was trying to say) and isn't this type of shit supposed to be proofread or at least put through a grammar checking software?
