I’d give it a 3.4. It was good but I liked the original series much better. I felt like there were a lot of plot holes between the dates, dinners, and political ongoings. I was less invested in some of the relationships and characters compared to the first selection. It was a fun read and I would recommend it to those not ready to move on from the world.

I liked the selection was in reverse this time. I will say that Eadlyn is not as likable as America was in the other books. But through the story, she grows in you. And like the other books, there are romances that you really root for! The main thing I really enjoyed about this book, the way it captured the relationship between the twins. Spot on!
