I absolutely love this series, but this is not my favorite. Eadlyn is absolutely insufferable and so self centered she drives me crazy! I hope that she is able to learn something about herself and grow in the next book. I liked most of the boys in the selection more than I liked her.

I started this book and strongly disliked our lead role. Eadlyn is our POV character now, and goodness is she a spoiled brat. Very irritating, and almost made me want to DNF. I’m glad I didn’t, and this has turned into my favourite of the series so far, because it’s far less predictable than the first three. The main character being oblivious to her flaws gets annoying still throughout the book, but not having every twist and then be predictable is refreshing, and explores smaller pieces of growth.

Eadlyn, the main character was kind of annoying and she barely had any character development.
Spoiler (Spoiler for next book the Crown) Eadlyn ends up someone in the sequel and we barely see them speak in this book. So most of the conversations and dates with most of the other men in this book felt pointless because they didn't change her character or the plot, nor did she end up with them.
