I received an ARC of Ella and the Alien Prince in exchange for a honest review, so I am going to be honest.
I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t care about the characters, there were words missing here and there and the second half of the book is basically just a sex scene. I know this a short story and there would not be too detailed descriptions, but the characters were not developed much and the world building was vague.
The “mating bond” that makes them to be drawn to each other doesn’t make sense to me. Even with the mating bond you’d expect them to get to know each other. But Ella basically sells herself to this man she just met. And of course her best friend falls for his closest friend and comes to the alien planet with her. Also, some dialogues and narrations in the book were very ‘cringy’ for me. Needless to say this was just not my cup of tea!

Review only for Tempted by the Biker by Cyndi Faria:

Dual POV, well written and mostly well edited (note: I’m reading an ARC, so hopefully the editing issues will be corrected by release)

I really enjoyed the canine lead! He made the story for me. The male and female lead were cute, if a bit angsty, but the dog stole the show.

This was a fun novella with a simple plot, which was worth reading.

It feels a little unfair to review short stories and novellas because they are so short and leave out so much a the meaty aspects that make a book engaging.

I did like the writing style and the way we got a sweet little story, but I would love to have a full story that gives us more information on everything.

I didn’t find this book to be ‘steamy’ and maybe that’s my own fault as I expected more erotica? I don’t read a lot of alien-esq stories and the one that really stuck with me was HOT.

There were a lot of errors in this story, that I’m hoping for fixed before the publicized version was finalized.

I would recommend this book to someone who really is looking for a short read to get them through, but not someone who’s really craving an intense read.

My review is for "Ella and the Alien Prince" by Margo Bond Collins

I haven't read any of the other books in the Alien Bride series and found the setup a bit rushed. "Earth under attack, surprising help from aliens, now let's go to the story..." It's a very short story, so this is only a minor complaint because in the end, everything important was mentioned. Same for the Characters. To be fair, I can't remember when I've last read a short story without knowing the characters from the main series before, so I might be picky here and expect too much of such a short story.
All that aside, I enjoyed the story and would have liked to read this in a more detailed, longer version But again, that's just me and the fact, that I did expect a full-length book. I'll definitely check the entire fairy-tale series, because I love re-tellings and now I'm prepared ;)

My review is for Mercy's End by May Dawson

Who wouldn't want to know what happens after Belle and the Beast get married? What if their child becomes a bada** ready to become a member of the Assassin Guild. But then, on her mission she encounters men who I really hope will become part of her harem. How will things turn out?

I can't wait to read the next installment of the book.

Ella and the Alien Prince is a short steamy scifi alien romance by Margo Bond Collins. This story in the Once Upon a Fairy Tale Night is a steamy retelling/twist on the classic Cinderella story.
This story is a quick, but enjoyable read. The author reveals to readers the Khanavai, who are an alien race, who helped save Earth from destruction from another alien race who is simply out to destroy everything. All the Khanavai want in return? Brides. This story is short, sweet and to the point. The pace is well done and kept me engaged from beginning to end. The author alternates between the two primary characters of this short story so you get both viewpoints which I honestly appreciate.
I like and appreciate how the author puts enough in this story to truly make me think Cinderella. For readers looking for a story with a bit more depth and development…this short story might not be for you. But for those who enjoy a good “love at first sight” or more like…”love at first kiss” then I’m sure that you are going to enjoy this novella.
I am rating this story 5 out of 5 stars. If the other stories are anything like this one then I am sure that I will enjoy the rest of this collection with the Khanavai and their human brides.

I love fairy tales and an anthology of short story retelling is right up my alley. Short stories can be hard though because you have to fit in a lot in such a small package. Jokes aside, this story was a fun take on the classic story. It really sets the stage for an entire world that I wouldn't mind revisiting, but stands alone perfectly and doesn't leave the reader hanging. I really look forward to seeing what the other authors in this collection have come up with. If this story is anything to go by they are gonna be good!

This review is for Mercy's End from the authors duo Lacey Carter Andersen & May Dawson.

Wow this novella just make you want to have the rest of this series in your hand already! Love everything Lacey Carter Andersen writes, that's why she's one of my favorites authors. It was so good, i devoured this baby in a blink. Mercy's End is the introduction to a new series that will follow Mercy Ravenwood
to God Fire Academy after being caught trying to assassinate Prince Hadrian, futur Vampire King. So in this novella we get the gist of what it was like for Mercy with her "loving" parents and the betrayal she feels towards the two men who got her caught, Ares and Sebastian, and that she thought were her friends. This short story sets the storyline of the futur book of this series. You don't want to miss this one, it's a must read.
