Near is just a kid, genius one at it. He didn't know shit about this case before it got into his hands. And in such a short time, he was able to deduce with such surity that light is kira? Something which took L loads of mindfuckery to figure out.

It's very evident the second half of the anime is so unnecessary and repetitive.

Am I still eating this up? Probably yes.
