LOVED forever black...this seemed weird at the end...the story skipped ahead like 20 years in a few pages.

This book is a story about marriage life. It highlight some issues such as trust, communication, parenthood and commitment. I like how Miss Lynn describing those issued for Connor and Ellery. I think Miss Lynn is telling us that HEA needs work.

I feel the sex scenes is too much and not necessary. I feel like the author wants to build the tension and steamy sex is to make this book more appealing. But I think Miss Lynn can investing more creating more dramatic on the story instead of the sex scenes.

And for that I am bit disappointed with this book.

So, I was saving my short and simple review for this trilogy when I finished the last book. Here it is.

description

This entire trilogy had me completely torn as to what to rate it because I can't even decide if I even like these books. But I'm settling for a 3.5 rating for each book.

description

The biggest like for me in this book was the epilogue and it made me look forward to reading the novella about Julia and then the book about Collin. Also, I felt that the story was nicely wrapped up despite my major dislikes. But that is just about the only things I liked about the entirety of this book and I feel like that is slightly saddening.

description

But what really weighed in here was the dislikes for me.I felt like this book should of ended AGES ago. It felt repetitive, unoriginal, and between Ashlynn/Phil, I was getting kinda ticked. There was just too much drama for absolutely no reason, at least to me. PLUS, I was getting so annoyed that Connor and Ellery make it seem like their trying to grow as a couple but literally argue over the same shit (excuse my language)CONSTANTLY!!!!!!!!!!!! < Never enough exclamation marks.

2.5 en realidad. Espere mucho de este libro. La protagonista sigue teniendo ese lado que no soporto.
Pero disfrute un poco de la historia.
