Pillars of the Earth is one of my favorite books.
I haven't read it's sequel because I'm always worried about ruining something I love.
So for that reason it took me quite a while to read Eye of the Needle. But Ken Follett did not disappoint.

A.k.a. Eye of the Needle. That, the movie, is a favorite of mine. Was hoping this book would become one as well, but although good, very good even, I never felt it was that good. Can't really put my finger on what it is that made me feel that way. Then again, Eye of the Needle didn't make my top 100 after watching it the first time either, so who knows. Four razor sharp stiletto stars for now.
