The spicy scenes were good but I skimmed through a lot of the rest. This book just didn't hold the interest for me that the first and even second book did. I like sci Fi and fantasy but I didn't care about this story and that history was doomed to repeat itself.

American King by Sierra Simone takes the emotional rollercoaster to a whole new level, leaving me simultaneously loving and hating the characters. The mind-blowing secrets and revelations kept me on the edge of my seat. And the satisfying happily-ever-after for the love triangle brought a perfect end to this series.

I'm going to shamefully count this book as read even though I have a quarter left. I just can't finish this. It's not my thing and I love Embry as a character too much to watch all these depressing things happen to him.
