I read this book when I was 10 years old, so I don't remember much, but what I do remember is reading it AFTER I read the second one lol. My parents owned the first two and I remember thinking the plot of the second one looked more interesting so being the naive 10 year-old I was I decided to read the second one first. I was obsessed with the second one, so I knew I had to go back and read this one to see the hype. I remember not liking it as much as the second one, but this book got me into reading and I became obsessed. Fun fact: it was the first chapter book I ever read!

Personally, I couldn't get myself through it since I wasn't invested in the storyline.
