Please be prepared for the emotional rollercoaster of this book. It’s absolutely amazing and beautiful but I did cry. I personally lost my mum a few years ago and this book definitely touched that nerve, however it was absolutely beautiful to hear these stories, to have these wonderful memories shared. (Also definitely check the author’s tick-tock where she shares more stories like this, that’s how I found the book)

This is one of the sweetest and most touching books I have ever read. Every patient's experience is handled with such care and sensitivity. You also get to know the author herself as details of her own life are woven throughout, as well as how each patient described had an impact on her. I highly recommend it, and especially for anyone who has a terminal illness, has a family member with a terminal illness, or who recently lost someone. I'm in none of those situations currently (thankfully), but it was still a very moving book to read. One of my favorites. This book to stick with me for a long time.
