The vivid descriptions and language in this book make it feel like you’re sat watching an anime as you read.
A slow start that takes you an unexpected emotional rollercoaster, with a beautiful message at the heart of it.
A quick read with many tears shed. A fabulous book. 100% recommend.

The plot is very interesting and moving, but the reading is a bit clunky, maybe due to the translation. Still a good read!

This book was such a comforting book to listen to. It definitely has some deeper/darker topics (including grief, loss, etc), but it still felt like a warm, reassuring hug. Especially considering I listened to the audio book.

I know there are still some complaints about how if you time travel but couldn't change the current time that you are living in, what's the point? But you could see that it was a moment something of a release. Almost like the characters could get off their chest what they needed. And as a reader, it was kind of a release for me too. I might not be able to say what I want to someone in my past or future, but I can feel the release those characters felt.

Throughout reading, I had the distinct feelimg that either 1) the translation/adaptation quality is poor, or 2) this work would've been better suited to a different medium. Not sure which one it was but a lot of passages had me feeling confused, or like I was missing some crucial info.
