I have been waiting for Ollie’s book since Follow Me Back. Ollie is alpha, broody and demanding. Nikki is headstrong and stubborn. I love these two combinations without a doubt. But things weren’t always this way and after something unthinkable happens and they both change. I love me a second chance romance especially when the characters grew up together and they are a little hostile to each other after some time apart.

I’ve been a fan of AL Jackson’s writing for the longest time and I enjoyed this book. This book had a combination of romance, heartbreak, second chances and closure. We also had some suspenseful moments towards the end in this story that had me glued to my kindle. I didn’t see that twist coming and my heart dropped and ached for the characters. In true Jackson form after she ripped my heart out she put it back together again!

Punch in the gut.

Oh loved this story. I do feel like there were some holes but the author would have had to put in all the ugly if she had filled them. Nikki and Ollie’s story was still a punch in the gut but soooo good at the same time.

Ollie & Nikki's story is here!
These books in this series all can be read as standalone, but believe me, once you read one, you will want to read them all.
My heart...
Ollie has been a mystery to us while he was introduced in the other two books and I knew what once Author A.L. Jackson gave us his story, I was going to be blown away.
Ollie is it! Nikki is all he wants. I love that Ollie throughout it all loves Nikki with an intensity that no one else can match.
This book takes you from their childhood to the present as adults and their lives in between till the now moment.
A love story that will have you crying, laughing and falling in love with that first love.

This was my favorite of the Fight for Me series. The story of Sydney and what happened to her was mentioned in each book and was what readers wanted to hear. While I saw it coming early in the book I still enjoyed reading how it played out. Ollie and Nikki had such a strong connection and were easy to root for, you wanted them both to get the happy ending after all the heartache they had suffered.

Some parts of the writing style of this book really got on my nerves. The ending was a plot twist I never expected — but everytbing leading up to that was so slow and drug out. Once everything began to be tied together, it ended so quickly.
