Claire Kingsley has done it again. She is one of my favorite authors in this genre and whenever I pick up a book by her I know I will not be disappointed. She writes wonderful, vulnerable, likeable characters that readers fall instantly in love with. Her hero's are sweet, tender, protective, hot men and Finn is no exception. Juliet, our heroine, has some control issues that sometimes cause her to miss out. During a weekend birthday trip the sparks fly between these two and the rest is history. The reader is taken on a terrific journey that is filled with emotion, plenty of heat and on terrific speech from Finn.

If you haven't taken a chance to try one of this author's books, do yourself a favor and pick one up. You will not be disappointed. What you will find are well written stories, with fantastic characters that will stay with you long after the book is done.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

2.5 ⭐️ This was too short to have any character or plot development. And I’m not a fan of insta love.

SO EFFING HOT!!

These two are opposites when it comes to their way of thinking on life but help each other change just a little as time goes on. And of course their chemistry is undeniable from the start!

Love that neither of these characters was overly broken but not overly perfect either. The “hmm will they make it to forever” is a fun ride. And the twist with the ex boyfriend was fun lol

Love her friends too! So upbeat and fun! A little bit goody goody with a slight wild streak (Becca) and an outgoing fun loving part girl (Madison) with Juliet being pieces of both!

Finn—an Irish/Italian boy with an affinity for making girls swoon with his dimples lol

This story totally captivated me and wouldn’t let me go until I finished it!

At this point, I’m just trying to power through this series. I thought it was weird to introduce two characters that haven’t been brought up before in the series (at least that I can remember). I know Finn is connected through Gabe, but Gabe is still a secondary character. It would have made more sense to have Gabe’s book be book 5, then Finn and Lucas. Overall the MCs were fine. Nothing too special to me, but okay. I didn’t think it was crazy that Juliet wanted some sort of reassurance about her feelings. I get it was really early on, but I didn’t see it as an ultimatum like her friends convinced her it was. I saw it as a person trying to cut their losses when they were flat out told their future goals didn’t align. Honestly felt like her friends (mainly Madison) kinda sucked throughout the book.

Another great story in my favorite fictional beach town Jetty Beach

I love Finn and Juliet.

Juliet is in Jetty Beach for a surprise girls weekend that doesn’t go as expected. As luck would have it, she meets Irish Pub owner Finn who is determined to help her have a great weekend. Cue the instant connection. They are both attracted to the other, but it starts off as a friendship interactions. As the best kind of romance stories go, both Juliet and Finn can’t hold back their feelings any longer. When they give in, it is HOT!

Beyond the steam, there is a true connection between these two. The way they come together is perfect. I think what I like best about this story is that both main characters think they have life figured out, yet, in each other they find a something that challenges their plans. They are better versions of themselves because of the other. They are so believable and so easy to love. Another great story in my favorite fictional beach town Jetty Beach.

Ooh, this was hot. Finn’s accent especially. The narrator clearly exaggerated it more than was necessary for the character, but you won’t hear any complaints from me. The feelings between Finn and Juliet came on super fast, but it didn’t feel forced. It felt natural mostly because this story gave me plenty of big, fast feelings too. Although, that probably has something to do with the accent…

Juliet and Finn’s story was a quick read. It was a short, sweet type addition toe the Jetty Beach series. I’m looking forward to Becca’s story.
