This one was average. Great. Now I have to put up with the shitty comedy in this manga. I really, really hate this manga when it's not being excessively dark with its protagonists and antagonists. I really don't care about any of you "heroes". Seriously.

Gin... Come back to me please T__T

so... we return to za worldo of the humans and we receive some much needed light-hearted comedy.
"Fish SAUSAGE!!!"
"Thank god, it was just a dream"
Why are we dreaming of fish sausages... and may I ask, what are fish sausages? no thank you.

Orihime needs to work on her women's intuition cause bro "way off mark" lightly describes it. Uryu and her will be perfect together. Just give it time.

And ZADDIESSSS, like they are actual dads, but they can also be my DADDY, pwease. Uyru's dad, Ryuken my god. He's like Kento Nanami's long lost accountant adjacent brother. He is so bwootiful. I get vibes we ain't meant to like him, there's def some dad trauma there. But that's okay, because I get SOUL REAPER DAD KUROSAKI. We already stan him as a dad and a human beingggg. THEN they make him all hot like "How 'bout you play with me instead". Hello? yes please. His hot potential has been fully unleashed and I'm in love.

Related to this too much:
"I can't do anymoreeee"
"YES YOU CAN, GIVE ME A THOUSAND MORE"
"A THOUSAND!!!?" NO WAY!!! I CAN ONLY COUNT TO 50!!!!"

The use of 'pudding' in Kon's sexual discrepancies is disturbing:
"SHUT UP YOU FOOL!! Can't you see I'm having the dream of the century over here!!!"
"Anther two minutes and I'd be up to my ears in pudding and babes!!!"

Spoiler
I'm so excited for the arrancar arc! So much has happened in the initial shift from the rescue mission back to Karakura. I have so many questions but so much love for Ryuken and Isshin stepping in to help, even if they both are a bit difficult to their sons. I want to know all about their backgrounds and powers!

Shinji is so interesting and I'm wondering how his introduction of reversing things applies to him always being upside down when he shows up.

This would have been a 5 star volume, but I don't love how Chizuru literally gropes Orihime every time she's in a panel. I don't enjoy the aggressive predator lesbian trope, and while Tatsuki always puts her in place and it's meant to be a gag, I don't appreciate pannels of 16 year old girls getting groped.

I loved how this volume showed the aftermath of the Soul Society arc and how it showed a more peaceful Soul Society environment as the characters all recovered from the chaos of Aizen’s plan. I loved seeing all the characters now become allies and see how they all interact with each other now that they’re not enemies and on edge all the time. I loved how Rukia’s rescue resulted in her choosing to stay, and I loved how Ichigo completely respected that choice and didn’t hesitate as he had already saved her and knew she was okay and that they’d see each other again. I loved Byakuya’s backstory revealing why he treats Rukia the way he does and why he acts the way he does, and Rukia’s apology to the Shiba family was a sweet moment. I loved seeing the main cast return to the real world and how much has and hasn’t changed. I loved seeing that Tatsuki was able to see Ichigo’s new Soul Reaper badge and even able to see Ichigo clearly as a Soul Reaper. I love when the human civilian characters are beginning to catch on to the secret surrounding their friends and the spirit world. I liked the introduction of Shinji and the Arrancar hollows and how they expand the world and begin the transition into the next major arc of the series. I loved seeing Uryū and Ichigo’s fathers enter the fold and reveal themselves, and I loved how it made sense in the story and naturally fit with the narrative that’s been woven throughout the entire series so far. Easily one of my favourite volumes so far that did a great job at transitioning the story out of the previous arc and into the next one.
