Not one of my top Freida books but it was good. Quick read and I had a few guesses to the twist at the end and I was mostly wrong, as usual. Had good suspense and kept my attention throughout entire book. I did enjoy the ending a lot.

Having read The Housemaid and The Housemaids Secret, I was already familiar with Frieda McFadden's style of writing and already had a good feeling that I was going to enjoy Ward D just as much.

Following Amy into the psychiatric unit as a medical student and following her as the night shift unveiled was gripping. I love the way Frieda always fits in a complete plot twist and you never quite get to see the end coming. I can't wait to read even more of her works.
