The torture scene was intense! The show doest even come close to what happens in this volume.

This is the best novel yet, bringing in characters we know from the show it definitely steps up a notch. This book is also incredibly gruesome, almost more than I could handle. I cannot wait until March 2014 for the final novel!

Bacially a tonne of gory torture. Very gross not for the faint hearted. When read with the rest of the series it makes sense. To read this on its own would be worrying.

I think they're getting progressively worse. Yes, this one tied in some stuff from the tv show we all know and love, but it didn't do it well. I can tell a book is bad when I'm having trouble keeping myself awake while reading it. This book did that to me.
I really don't even know that I'll read the last one, honestly. I know how it ends. And I don't think I have it in me to fight my newfound narcolepsy for the conclusion. Oh well.

Better than book 2. Most graphic book I've read because of the Governor and Michonne scenes. Too graphic to be on the show.

Didn't read the first two in series. I know it's The Walking Dead but some parts were really graphic, uncomfortable to visualize. Side plot with Lilly was alright but nothing special. Could have been better but still entertaining enough.

Good, fast read. Finished it in one day actually but it does rehash much of TWD comic book as I am sure the final book will as well.
