Pre-reading thoughts: I added this because Billy was interesting in the previous book as Olivia's partner-in-crime. However, in Olivia's book he was a younger son. I guess that's partially why I want to read it, to find out how this changed.
Post-reading review: It was alright, I still liked "Billy" although he's William now. Also, he got a promotion. He's no longer Mr. Elliott the "second son of Viscount Latham" like he was in the first book, he's the eldest son and current Viscount Latham. No older brothers just the one horrible younger brother. I would have liked a bit more background on Rosalind's song-writing, she sings a song she wrote at the house-party and that's the only time it's mentioned.

Not for me
Historical veneer with some truly repugnant side characters along to create sensational drama. I'm not looking for grand plots but this was really thin. Just wasn't for me.

I would like to thank the author for a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Rosalind is a new widow who hated her husband, has no money and now faces being forced to marry his heir. William is a Discount who's estate is in real need of an heiress. Both feel they may end up having little choice in who they marry, even if the one person they want is right in front of them.
