I think I just waited too long to pick up the third book. Just wasn’t interested in the story any longer.

Much better than the first book, but fell a little bit short from the second. Overall, a satisfyingly conclusive end to a fantastic and unique tale.

A good ending to the series! It might’ve been five stars for me if it hadn’t been so long since I read the first two and I didn’t have to spend the first 50 or so pages trying to remember who everyone was and what the heck was going on. But I love a good pirates tale, especially one with badass lady pirates

Wonderful close to a wonderful series. Dark and emotional, with lots of action. I remain unmoved by Oran/Cala, but other than that every relationship is lovely.

Everything wrapped up a little too cleanly (like, Aric destroyed the Bullet Seas and the communities there; surely clean-up will be more messy?), but in general, a solid conclusion.
I would have liked more with Donnally ... his betrayal of Lir seemed too sudden, and now he's just chilling in the former Holster? I would have liked more explanation/exploration of Lir's and Donnally's relationship (maybe during the prologue?). And what exactly is Caledonia going to be doing at the end of the book? (Although I do love the idea of Pisces taking over--she totally deserves it.)
The epilogue felt totally unnecessary: her big moment throwing away the dagger could have happened when she made the decision to not visit Lir in jail.
Still an extremely satisfying read with enjoyable battle/action scenes and strong female characters.
