Received this book voluntarily for my honest review.
You have Elaine who is a single mom with a past and you have Travis who is a gruff ex Navy Seal who is now a Police Chief and he is trying to figure out his life and wants to start his family's ranch back up but he can't do it alone. Slowly Travis realizes he has feelings for Elaine and her son so he is trying to do everything in his power to make sure that she is ok and he wants to take care of her. Weston, who is Travis' best friend, convinces Travis to run to be Sheriff. Right before the election things surface about Elaine that turn everything upside down. I liked this book. It flowed well, you liked all of the characters and I can't wait to read more by this autho
