I want to give this a 3.5 but since I only have the option between 3 and 4 its more of a 3. The story is entertaining, and I enjoyed reading about Abby's summer list of experiencing life events in order to give depth to her paintings. However the story is a light read, and part of me expected it to tackle some subjects a lot more than it did, such as mental illness and love. But in that sense it feels realistic for a 17 year old to handle. Its a prefect read if you're looking for a light read.

This was a cute story! I’ve totally been in Abby’s shoes and it’s a painful experience but I’m glad it ended how I hoped!

I thought I was going to love this one as much as PS I Like You and The Fill In Boyfriend, but the ending fell a little flat. It felt rushed at the end, plus the last bit where she distanced herself was not nearly as fun as the rest of it. I did really love her painting and her journey to find herself through the list. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Honestly, it's such a great story. I love the best friend relationship. I also love that her whole summer was spent trying and doing new things. Characters were adorable, relationships were realistic, and the plot was amazing. It was such a great summer YA book.

Light-hearted and beautifully written fare from Kasie West, as usual. I like how she touches on art this time, as Abby Turner is an aspiring artist with a big heart, learning to put herself out there to truly discover her true talent, and her real self. Abby fights to squash down her feelings for her best friend, Cooper Wells. This inadvertently affects her general perspective and her art, and I loved how her close-knit family helps her realise what she is missing. I enjoyed Abby and Cooper's breezy and comfortable friendship, and it sort of reminds me of Of the Fence. I wished that there was more focus on the anxiety issues, but it was nice to see it addressed. It is still an enjoyable story though. Definitely a go-to for a feel-good moment.

this was so cute! I liked it, really enjoyed reading it. it got me out of my (short) reading slump.

what I liked the most was the relationships Abby has with the other characters, especially the relationship between Abby and her grandpa, it was so fun to read about their sarcastic conversations, but also the friendship between Cooper and Abby, they are so close and know everything about each other. what also made this book good, was that Abby's a realistic teen, with a personality and hobbies. (!!!)

I must say that some parts were boring and unnecessary, it was too long for such a story/plot.
