I was unable to finish this book. Misgendering Hyacinthus for seemingly no reason leads me to believe that it was a bid to hetero-normalize the content, which I take as a form of censorship and erasure. It made me wonder how much of the rest that I had read had been altered in similar ways.

Very basic introduction to some of the world's most historical symbols. Obviously to cover 100 of them means you aren't really able to delve too deeply into any of them. Interesting overview and good pictures but not much more data than a Google search.
