This is much darker than the first book and a little more detailed when it comes to the abuse and torture of Ronanās early years.
But I fell in love with both Ronan and Sasha, and they are a couple that I just want to stay happy forever. I donāt want any other trauma to touch them because they finally have a home and safe place with one another.
Graphic: Child abuse, Gore, Torture, and Violence
Moderate: Domestic abuse
Minor: Rape

I only wish we had seen more closure on his part, more healing. Or at least more details of it, especially from his pov.
Also Ronans character was so well developed and was genuinely so wonderful, but sadly Sashaās fell a bit flat. Donāt get me wrong she was enjoyable, but I wanted more.
And I felt as though we were missing the āhealingā part of Sashaās story too. She had trauma she should have been working on as well, and we just didnāt rlly see that.
The ending felt a bit rushed and sadly, again, flat. For 75% of this book I thought I would be a 5/5āļø Read and sadly the last 25% just didnāt compare to the rest of the book.

Also, like the consensual sex scenes are all so cold to read? Not intimate at all.
