I really liked seeing Mars through David's POV. Yeah, the ending felt like it was easily resolved, but that didn't take away from the overall experience for me.

It's hard to root for the protagonist.  Bobbie is great tho.

Mostly an excuse for Bobbie to look awesome, but it spent far too little time on that part. Most of the book is a slice of life story of a high school-aged boy on Mars. This is definitely intersting in some aspects, but not as interesting or descriptive of Martian life as it could have been. The payoff of Bobbie being Bobbie was definitely good fun, though.
