Decent entry in the series, but really had trouble suspending my disbelief at the whole Everest bit. Come on.

Nice change of pace, as the siblings are separated through the book. Adds a bit more story and speed...

The Cahills are in China in this book. After a big fight between the siblings, Dan takes off and is kidnapped. Jonah Wizard makes a big appearance in this book and he and Dan are off on an adventure that takes them into the depths of the terracotta warriors.

This one was a pretty good book. I liked how they split apart in this one and finally come back together to reach the ultimate heights.

It was also a bit more far-fetched than some of the previous books, which wasn't a bad thing, but it still it made me scoff just a bit.

I don't remember exactly what happened here, but I do know the setting was in China. Or was it? Hmm, if I got that wrong... bummer.

It's hard to keep raving over this series. But they are truly enjoyable. I wish I had played along online when the series first came out to see how that would have enhanced my experience. Kudos to Scholastic for coming up with this concept!
