I have a lot to say about this book and it starts with me being unsure whether to give it more or less stars. The slog continues and nothing much really happens for majority of the book except maybe the last quarter, and even that is mostly set up save for maybe the last 2 chapters. That last chapter was what made the whole 600 pages worth it.
Spoiler - I am going to say it, I really don’t like the Rand 3 way thing with Min, Aviendha, and Elayne. I’d prefer it focused on only Min (because that’s basically what it is, except one moment with the other two every other book).
- and the Elayne pregnancy?!
- I wish there was a longer scene about cleansing the source cause that was awesome AND NYNAEVE AND RAND DID IT
- Matt was very interesting in this book I enjoyed his story more than in book 7
- Perrin’s story was finally getting interesting with him now searching for Faile WITH Masema but why did they all just disappear after like the first 3 chapters
- and finally, why are there so many new characters I can’t remember any of their names or whether they really are new (and what happened to other characters like Galad and Gawyn?)

Another one that I remembered very little of. It is more understandable with this book than it was with the last, because nothing is concluded in this book, except for one thing at the very end. Not to say the story isn't interesting and that it isn't an enjoyable read, it is. It is my least favorite so far, however. I expect that will change with the next book though. I remember absolutely nothing happening in it.

I can’t lie- this one was a little harder to get through. It drags as Jordan picks up one straight after another to weave this masterpiece. Still very good, though. I’ll definitely be reading on.
