Child presents a different version of the old classic tale with a very interestingly designed and illustrated book. The story has a nice take on the classic tale, and overall a solid job by Child who knows how to write for well a child!

A really lovely retelling of Princess and the Pea with unique illustrations that includes both photography and sketches. I enjoyed the costuming of the characters though their facial expressions are a little odd.
