Cute story.

This is a quick story told from the perspective of a dog.

His best friend (who is the canine that lives next door) goes missing and his human, a detective, is recruited to help.

This book was a great change of pace from the mysteries and thrillers that I usually read.

Didn't enjoy this as much as the first Chet & Bernie short but it was a fun, quick read (kind of confused when it was over, it ended so abruptly). Includes an excerpt from the new full length Chet & Bernie mystery.

Good old Chet the jet. I think he is the hero every time. The story is only 28 pages but a nice addition to the series.

(Mystery, Novella – adjunct to the series)

Another sort of prequel to the Chet & Bernie series (see item #1), this is the story of Iggy, the dog next door. Iggy is Chet’s bud, but they don’t see much of each other.

While this wasn’t as intriguing as "A Cat Was Involved," another series prequel, Quinn still has a way with a story and this dog’s irrepressible take on life.

Read this if: you’re a series fan. If you haven’t read any of the books yet, start with A Cat Was Involved and then move on to Dog Gone It. 4 stars-

"i've had enough, grace."
"but what about the rest of us? we're not ready to give up on you."
"will you ever be? it's easy to have hope when you're not the one locked inside this chair."

"i should never have left you alone."
"don't ruin all this goodwill i'm feeling toward you by turning caveman on me."

Meh!!! Definitely NOT an Iggy fan. I've always found him kind of annoying. This book certainly didn't change that opinion.
