The whole explanation was staggering. It was an enjoyable time. To be exact, I’d say it’s 3,8 out of 5 stars. I still have a lot of questions that lingers in my head after finishing the book. I quite like how the mystery was solved, because I think we couldn’t think any of that. Seeing what kind of detective Hercule Poirot is, I might say it’s not that surprising he rejected the offer from Ratchett from the start with that reason, even so I think there’s more than that. I wonder why he was so sure.
“The impossible could not have happened, therefore the impossible must be possible in spite of appearances,” really was the whole case about. In the end, they are all liars.
(I expected Mr. Hubbard was one of the culprit because I thought every time she brought up her daughter’s narrative it was kinda weird. But I didn’t expect her to be Linda Arden. Made it even sadder, because Sonia, her daughter, is already dead).

The most anticlimactic cop out ending ever. His giddy little line, “now I can retire from this case” at the end, felt like I was being pranked..
