When the world is taken over by giant creatures called ‘Goliaths’, do you choose to fight them, or protect them? Three badass FMCs fight to protect their Goliath who they’d raised from birth with the hope to live with the Goliaths instead of at war with them. Another group of girls oppose them with the opinion that humanity will be saved when the Goliaths are all dead. These two groups are deeply connected in complex relationships including childhood friends, sapphic relationships and bitter hatred. This was such a fun, beautifully illustrated read. I can’t wait for the series to be continued!!

This was a solid beginning to a graphic novel series. I love all 4 of them so much! Ginger Spice deserves everything good in the world!

I love the idea of this and the art. But I finished feeling 'meh'. Is it normal to be lost & confused in original world comics like this? It felt like I was clearly missing something. I found the behind the scenes stuff about the comic more fascinating than the comic itself and that cleared up a few questions I had. I'll give the next one a shot because I want to enjoy this so much.

So-So

I don’t know what to say. It was an interesting read. The colors were fantastic. I loved the Kaiju in Pacific Rim so I have high hopes that I probably shouldn’t have. Still, I greatly feel like nothing freaking happening in this portion. Nothing happened and they used so much language I could see little little kids utilizing. I don’t know. I may read on just because I’ve started and now need to know the outcome. I may not continue reading because I feel like it might be a huge waste of time. Meh!

I spent way too long not reading graphic novels. Literally... I’m just obsessed. Since 2019 most things I’ve read have been graphic novels. They just make me happy.

This..... wasn't for me. The art was only ok, none of the characters were really likable, and the whole thing seemed like it was trying way too hard to be cool.
