Enjoyable read, even for someone who has only ever read Warcraft books but never played the game. I was left confused and wanting more details after Arthas acquired frostmourne. So many key events were glossed over, it felt rushed toward the end of the novel.

Really good book that gives you the backstory of king Arthas. Made me a little sad in the end because of the desperation you get from Jaina's feelings, but because of the compassion it makes me feel for the characters as well as for the personal drama they're trying to get away from, I cannot help but love the book and accept its outcome.

The book is a nearly word for word retelling of the Warcraft 3 frozen campaign which was a little disappointing to me since I wanted more. A good read for those who never plan to play the campaign and still want to know the story.

I ordered this book on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's an entertaining and fairly well written version of the story of Arthas and to a lesser extent Sylvannas. The book doesn't drag on and it looks to expand on the things we already know about Arthas' change. It would be a very good read for those who play World of Warcraft, are interested in the lore within, but have never played the classic RTS games.

This book was okay. It is a fun background story about Warcraft heroes and villains. Some of the major battles were left out or only briefly talked about.

I.e. the Frozen Throne storyline in book form... which is very very good.
