Pretty solid thriller!

I will say, the writing style will not be for everyone. It can be slightly confusing and have to refer back to what you previously had read quite a bit. Personally, although slightly confusing, I did enjoy it. Even reading it backwards, you still had moments of shock and it added to the story nicely.

I really liked the main character. You come to find Nic is a flawed character and not all meets the eye with her. She always kept you guessing on her motives and if she had more secrets than she led on.

Overall, I just had a lot of fun with this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It read very fast and the time transitions her very smooth. I wasn't left guessing or with questions at the end. Very fun!

I had a hard time understanding the time line of this story as it is pretty much told backwards. I was tempted to read this book from the back so it would go in chronological order. However this made me want to finish this book all the more, because every chapter made zero sense.
All the missing girls just include two girls. Most of these characters seem shallow and very little character development.
Good ending though. Not expecting the final plot twist.

wasn’t a fan of the structure of the book. it’s told backwards starting from day 15 of the girl being missing, and it was just disorienting. like reading a chapter and being given information, and then the next chapter was the day before so none of the stuff you just read had happened yet. idk it was just a weird experience. i also didn’t really like the main character.

I usually feel pretty confident about my theories for this book, but even by 80% I had NO idea who was behind the whole thing. Even when it was revealed I was shocked.

The mystery ended up not being as compelling as I'd hoped. Most of all, I really disliked Megan Miranda's writing style.
