This was Lillian Velvet's story, but we see her pop in and out of the Kingdoms and Empires and touch the lives of so many others we already know. This book is full of love, compassion, humor, and adventure.

Another strong installment in the Kingdoms and Empires Series. I do think you need to have read the other books in the series to get the most out of this book. But a fabulous read and very tense.
