FanTASTIC. I loved the length of each story, the way it opened and closed, and the way each person was from a different place or different tribe, but everyone came together for the same celebration. Definitely recommended!

I read this immediately after finishing There There by Tommy Orange. The parallels between the two were fascinating, though Ancestor Approved was much more uplifting.

This is a great story to celebrate the culture and community of Native American tribes. It felt similar to Reynold's Look Both Ways. I loved how all of the stories were separate, yet intertwined.

Highly recommend!

Fantastic. I'm a sucker for connected stories and this collection had something for everyone.
