There were some really cute moments in this book, but they were honestly ruined for me by the really misogynistic undertones sprinkled throughout the book. I mean, this author actually had grown women physically fighting and verbally abusing each other over a man.
There were regular comments insinuating that the main character was somehow more moral than other women because she never wears makeup and wears jeans instead of dresses. Overall this was just way too toxic for me.

Nick and Noel's Christmas Playlist is cute. A Hallmark movie cute. But with R rating. I like the characters. Their banter is super cute. The plot is light and lighthearted.
I read Miss Hall book long time ago and glad that I can pick this one up.

3.5 stars. I had some hang ups. Overall well written, sweet friends to lovers holiday romance. Some slow pacing at the beginning, but picked up. A great Christmas romcom choice!

SO, ahhh!
I have to say out of all of the Christmas books I've read this year this one has to be my favorite.
I ABSOLUTELY adored the characters in this story, also their Christmas related names?
Nick, Noel, Merry, Holly and Chris. PLUS the towns name; Mistletoe!
This book had me in my feels, the romance was spot on. There were times where Noel was being extremely frustrating, but over all this book holds a special place in my heart now for every year.
Definitely looking forward to reading more from Codi.

A lot of sap, not much steam, but I adored this one. Absolutely adorable and even though I read these out of order they were still all adorable.
