This book has very little substance - I saw a review that described it as fluffy fan fiction, which is very accurate - but I enjoyed it a lot. It contains some good character studies and perspectives from characters we haven’t gotten to hear from before, and it’s a good bridge to more action later on. You also get some good Feyre and Rhysand love before the series switches to Nesta’s perspective. Overall, a cotton candy quick quick read!

Out of the entire series, this book was the least satisfying. But there was still strong character development present with feyre and Nesta. I will be interested to see how this book plays into #5 of the series.

SJM never ceases to amaze me. Also the things I would give to have a snowball fight with the Illyrian babies
