I liked the idea but truthfully hated the way it’s written.

The Monkey story is not that great but it was okay. I liked the story structure cutting back and forth. The tension was there but felt simple.

Unlike the other books in the [b:The Mammoth Book of Short Horror Novels|803248|The Mammoth Book of Short Horror Novels|Mike Ashley|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1321824765l/803248._SY75_.jpg|3198297] anthology, this story did its job and creeped me out. That's why Stephen King is the undisputed king of horror fiction.

Este, a diferencia de La Niebla, fue más al pie. El ser más corto hizo que King no diera vueltas y me mantuviera expectante desde el inicio al final. Yo ya rechazaba a esos monos a cuerda, ahora aun más.

This was slow starting, but about 1/3 the way through I was hooked. Very good story.
