It is entertaining, easy to read. I think the ending is a little rushed, I would have liked more details on the cases and what happened after

Meh, too many different storylines that unsatisfactorily tried to converge at the end. Not one of the best in this series.

I normally quite like a James Patterson book, although they are not blow me away amazing, they are enough to keep me interested without having to use the grey matter too much. This one however was a bit of a let down. The storyline showed promise and actually made me feel a little queasy. The bits that let this down were the real father (and his layer) of one Mikes adopted daughters just turning up at the house, I’m sure there must be a better procedure than this for contact such as letters and meetings between the adults first. The other was the ending, it felt very rushed with not very much in the way of thriller in the lead up to it. On the pluse side it was a quick read to pass some time over the Easter break.

Too much stuff was going on and it really distracted from what the actual plot was. In the end it all quickly came together and almost redeemed the book, but the ending was way too brief.

Another solid Bennett mystery. I did really enjoy the multiple story lines through the story and there all were woven together nicely. Definitely recommend this one.

Another good Bennett story. Didn't like one of the side stories and was glad when it ended fairly quickly. Could have done without that. :( 3.5 stars
